COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER MANIFESTO

My aim is to build up a stronger connection between Law society and its members via communication. I am a first year law student and an active member of University of Westminster Debate society.  I want us to have the best student experience possible and see value in active membership in our Law society. I think communications can make this happen. Whether it is social media, spread the word or plain old wall posters, we will be out there and we will know why!!!

Let me share with you my ideas:

• Improve student’s update by renewing constantly all media sources (facebook, instagram, twitter, website, emails etc.) with the latest news and upcoming events.

• Improve mailing system- make sure all members receive our e-mails.

• Provide instant responses on enquiries and possible questions via email or otherwise 

• Talking to students directly is the most powerful tool we have. Let’s do that more! As your communication manager I want to get to know you better!

• Try to maximise attendance on events through advertising strategy, so we can create a bigger and more effective society.

• Implement a “Law Society” section on our blackboard. Let’s use all kind of ways we have to get everyone informed and involved!
